As I look at the week I just finished up and look at the up coming week of dance. I find mself in a complex state of mind. Do i fallow the path and jin the dance troup/ theaater life? This may be a big and new opportuntity. Time will tellif i truely want to make my ife a journey that changes more and more peoples life. Stay tune for the outcome.

Very excitd to share the next few months are very busy with new dance projects. Last weekend had three great shows with Young Dance. We raised $790 towards this campaign. May 12, 2017 I have a dance at the University of Minnesota for a graduation dinner event. Breaking Out From Meds is a new and very powerful 7 minute dance. Come see it on May 25 and 26, 528 Hennepin Ave. 4th floor Zenon 7pm. Dancing on the Belly of the Beast: June 23rd, 24th and 25th 8pm Ritz Theater. This show is presenting me as a dancer in new ways that I have not done previously. Jennifer Isle is the producer, dancer and choreographer for the show. This week was a great start brought in 191 pounds of food for first food drive. Young Dance held their 29 year Gala fundraiser/friend raiser VSA contunies to educate and promote the Arts in MN for people with dusabiities. Myself, I have 3 different dance programs this Spring; April 14th and 15th at Intermediate Arts; May 4,5,6 at Young Dance; and end of June at Off Leash. Mike Cohn.... On November 29th 2017 I will be 50 years old and durring 2017 I am working with Family, Friends and Community to Celebrate and help spred the word about: Food shelves, VSA Minnesota, and the Arts and Dance for everyone. All three of these organizations are a part of my daily life and help make me who I am proud to be today!
   I volunteer at STEP , my local food shelf, and am an assistant dance instructor at Young Dance in Minneapolis. Young Dance is the first dance company in Minneapolis that has dance classes and performances with dancers of all abilities. As for the VSA Minnesota, I have been an advocate on and off for over 20 years and been a greatful recipient of thier wonderful Artists grant program.
   The perpose of this blog is to Celebrate my wonderful 50 years of adventures by creating awareness, raiseing funds and food for STEP, Young Dance and VSA Minnesota. This idea all came about when my sister Leslie Zent asked me what I wanted for such a momumental birthday. She knew I wouldn't want gifts and this is where my mind and heart came up this great colaboration! Soon I will be attaching thier websites to help me celebrate and help others in the process!
